Chris began his IT career as a web programmer in 1996 for a local Falls Church, VA startup (NMP, Inc.) while working on his BS in Computer Science from George Mason University's School of Information Technology and Engineering. He managed a small team of coders and technical support staff until NMP was acquired by Appnet / Commerce One in 1998, where he spent the next 3 years as their Head of Technical Services, supporting the web infrastructure for 100+ clients.

In 2001, Chris and a few close friends / co-workers branched out and created Hedgehog Technology Services, Inc. to provide a more personal managed web hosting experience for non-profit and commercial clients.  Miceli IT Services was formed in early 2023 with the same goal - personalized customer experience, while providing top-shelf IT services for both commercial and residential  customers.
